This collage tarot deck takes a trip through a whimsical landscape, where vintage treasures hint at the symbolism of each card.
This is no fly-by-night clone of the Rider Waite Smith deck, indeed creator Lennox Rees says it took three years of thinking and tinkering before this project was ready to be sent to print.
Lennox explains: "I have worked closely with the RWS symbolism, but I also expand that symbolism and insert my own vision into the deck. While some cards may feel familiar, other cards may feel new.
"The push and pull of old meets new is what inspires my collage work at its root. I love starting from a traditional and historical place, but I especially love taking those original pieces or ideas and inserting them into a modern, artistic creation.
"The deck is certainly rooted in a nature and animal based setting. There are no human figures except a skeleton or statue. This is the world my imagination wanders to and what excites me visually. Imagination is the key to creativity, and that's what I love about this deck so much."
Note: A set of 4 replacement cards will accompany your deck. You may or may not need these - the replacement cards are due to a colour bleed in the printing of the original deck which affected four cards.
